You have to climb up through the pedestrian walkway to our street and then go down to the bottom of our street (pictured here) to get to our apartment.

Fountain on our street.
Sadie and Greg standing in the entrance to the little path between the buildings that leads to our apartment.
You can see the 4 sets of dormer windows on the roof of the two buildings (one yellow with green shutters and one pink) that make up our apartment.
View up our street. About halfway up it becomes part of the pedestrian area.
Our apartment building entrance.
View from the windows in the loft up our street.
Another rooftop view of our building. Ours is the white one.
Building across from ours with neat painting.
This is a view of our apartment from the rooftop on another building. Our apartment goes from green roof just past the sign (La Vi etc) to almost the edge of the building.
A stairway from the street above ours that leads to our street.
More of the stairway that leads to our street. 72 steep steps!
Our apartment is at the bottom of this little street. It seems you are always walking uphill in Lausanne.
There is a total of 3 stairways up to our apartment with a total of 49 steep steps. This is the first stairway.
This is the second stairway in our apartment building that leads to our apartment.
The hall and third stairway to our apartment.
Looking from the front door down the apartment. The kitchen is off to the right after the archway and then the bathroom is further back on the right and the hallway to Sadie's room and the loft is at the end of the left.
That's our apartment door straight ahead.
Some of the stained glass doors in our apartment. These our to the master bedroom.
Another stained glass door for the master bathroom off the master bedroom.
Nice built in closet in the master bedroom. The painting over it is of the building with two angels protecting it.
More nice built-ins in the master bedroom. Don't notice all the clothes - we are waiting for the furniture to be delivered.
The kitchen. It is rather small but very functional. There is actually quite a bit of counter space and there is a dishwasher.
Looking back from the dining/center room towards the door of the apartment. The kitchen is to the right.
Entrance to one bathroom from the dining/center room. This bathroom has a great big tub and is nice and roomy.
This window is across from the kitchen room. It ones to the "tube" that they built in the center of the building to let light and air into the inner parts of the apartments that don't have windows. More beautiful stained glass.
Another view of stairs to the loft.
One of the stained glass doors in the apartment.
View down from the loft area. If you go left at the bottom of the stairs you enter Sadie's bedroom and if you go right you enter the dining/center room.
